This October, I’m going to help raise awareness and funds for Rett Syndrome, a cause which is incredibly close to my heart. I’m so lucky to have built a close bond with my cousin Abigail who is diagnosed with this disorder. Rett Syndrome is a complex and debilitating neurological disorder that robs many young people of too many everyday functions we often take for granted, including their ability to communicate, and move independently. Please support me in finding a cure and creating a world without Rett Syndrome ?
Formed in Melbourne in July 1989, the Rett Syndrome Association of Australia Inc. (RSAA) is a not-for-profit organisation which is managed by a Committee of volunteers, most of whom are parents of Rett syndrome children. RSAA is currently working on running clinical trials in Australia.
