They say it takes a village to raise a child and all children in our community village are precious. Here at St Josephs Crib Point we have a delightful young man in Prep called Miller and he is currently undergoing chemotherapy at the Monash Children's Hospital each week.
Miller and the Reid family will be featured on the Channel 9 Footy Show on Friday the 24th of September as part of the My Room Telethon. Miller and his family have been filmed at their home and will share their story and this will be shown during the telethon. This telethon will highlight kids like Miller and be raising much needed funds to help cure childhood cancers. We want everyone in our village to get behind Miller and all the kids who are going through treatment for childhood cancers. Let's raise some much needed funds to help support families with children going through cancer and fund important research into finding a cure.
We are having a Footy Day at school on Thursday 16th of September to have some footy fun and highlight our fundraising support for Miller and all other kids challenged by cancer. Please give what you can. Your village needs you!
