As most of you may know, Afghanistan is facing a grave humanitarian crisis, with the Taliban regime taking over by the day.
Amidst all this, I have a large amount of family living in Kabul from my maternal side. With the price of essentials going up by the day, and fear of displacement, they are struggling to make ends meet. My parents and I have sent a large portion of money, however, it is sadly not within our means to give the assistance we would like to the 16 members of my mother's family who remain.
We are asking for you to donate a small amount so that we can send it to my maternal family in Afghanistan so that they can make ends meet during this incredibly challenging time. Many of them were struggling immensely even before this crisis, but it is being exasperated by the day.
Among these individuals are 4 of my maternal aunties, and a large group of my first cousins who are aged between 3 and 31. They all worked in humanitarian aid, making them a direct target. They do not know what faces them tomorrow, so any amount of money will help them.
