It's my birthday!!! This year I'd love your support by donating to a cause that us close to my heart. Volunteering at this sanctuary has been such a beautiful experience. There is nothing like being surrounded by rolling hills and roos! Being able to do my little bit and seeing animals really respected and cared for like they are at this sanctuary has done wonders for my emotional wellbeing. Whilst it feels very therapeutic for me as a volunteer I recognise the work for Kat and Eddie is relentless and costly but also rewarding. They have such a passion and determination to help wildlife in need. However, they are also in need... to keep the sanctuary going they need our support.
About the sanctuary: Little Urchins Wildlife Sanctuary (LUWS) are dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, protection and release of native Australian wildlife. Established in 2009 Kat and Eddie focus the sanctuary on providing a safe haven for native fauna that come into care, specialising in the rehabilitation of wild, injured kangaroos giving them a second chance at life.
Kat and Eddie work tirelessly around the clock to make sure the animals get the very best care. The roos that find their way to Little Urchins are either injured or orphaned because their mums were killed. Car accidents are one of the main reasons for both of these situations.
Upkeep of the sanctuary is super costly. Food and milk alone is hundreds of dollars every week. Then there is the cost of vet bills and medical supplies.
Your donation will go straight to the upkeep of the sanctuary and towards caring and rehabilitating our roos.

For every year your beautiful soul has been on this land
