Our beautiful Beth’s world was turned upside down in May 2021 when doctor’s found a 4cm brain tumour by accident. She had surgery to remove the tumour and unfortunately, the news was delivered on June 21, 2021 that she had Stage 3 Glioblastoma with some stage 4 markers. She needs to begin chemotherapy and radiotherapy immediately to give her the best chance at beating brain cancer’s a$s.
Whilst this is an utterly devestating diagnosis, Beth’s number one priority has always been her boys Lachlan (5) and Harrison (4), and wanting to protect them as best as she can from the diagnosis and the side effects of her treatment, particularly given Lachlan’s neurodiversity and additional needs. She is an amazing mum and does everything for her boys.
Beth is one of the strongest people I know, but is literally in for the fight of her life, and for those that know her, she does not ever give up. This is a fight she is quite familiar with, as despite being a devoted mother to her boys, she has also been the carer for both her parent’s as they fought, and unfortunately lost, their cancer battles in recent years. If you are able to donate anything however small to help ease the financial burden with the extra costs of treatment, and to also help her create some magical memories with her 2 beautiful boys it would be so appreciated.
Wishing you all good things Beth in your fight made aware by my daughters Body shop with Mishka !
