In 2018, our dear friend and colleague Susannah Callaghan was diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer. Since her initial surgery, she has just finished her third round of intensive chemotherapy, as the disease keeps recurring.
Sue lives with the reality that this is her new normal; however, she has recently been given hope that comprehensive genetic testing will prove more successful in keeping her in remission through targeted chemotherapy and/or immunotherapy.
The reality is that the testing and ongoing medical costs are expensive and she has been unable to work.
Your contribution will help Sue undertake genetic testing and therefore give her the best possible chance to cure her disease.
She has spent her whole life giving to others and supporting and nurturing music for students in the South East Queensland region. Here’s an opportunity for us to give something back.
Any contribution, however big or small would be greatly appreciated to help our wonderful friend and colleague have the best chance of surviving. Thank you for your support and please share with others who may know Sue.
