One year ago my 3yo niece, India Spink, was diagnosed with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of childhood cancer. Throughout her journey, she has been such an inspiration to us all. Always smiling, ready with a joke and truly living her best life, despite the challenges she is facing. The funds raised for my 19.7 km solo swim to Rottnest Island, will go towards helping India heal. In addition to her treatment plan including chemotherapy and immunotherapy, her family are supporting her system with a plant based organic diet with plenty of juices to melt her naughty bad fairies. An avid swimmer herself (India could swim at 18 months), she is very excited to follow along with my swim but not too keen on the prospect of sharks!
