**FOR EVERY $10 DONATED I WILL RUN 1 KM** I've been accepted into the Master of Theatre Directing program at East 15 Acting School (University of Essex) in London. I will be heading over there this September to start the course in October, and while I'm very excited to go, the fees are no walk in the park! WHY STUDY MORE? Live performance has become an increasingly challenging environment to navigate, and I want to be in a more stable position to create, produce, and obtain directing work. Directing has been a natural extension of my love for telling stories, creating shapes and images, sharing humanity's emotional map and exploring why we do the things we do. Additionally, I think it's a good idea to continue to grow and develop in your field of expertise. FEES The course costs $28,000 and needs to be paid upfront. Now, I'm confident I will be able to cover $20,000 this (laughs nervously), but I'm asking for your donations to help me with the rest. LIVING COSTS Rent and bills will be around $13,000 for the year. The course commitment is 9 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday, with some rehearsals and my thesis to be done outside of that, so it will be challenging to work much once I'm there.
