Hello there!
As some of you may know, I have been a dialysis nurse for the past 3 years.
Our patients spend on average 60 hours a month receiving dialysis amongst many other lifestyle changes incurring due to kidney disease. Currently there is no cure, with dialysis or transplantation the only treatment.
In order to raise awareness, I am aiming to complete 130km this month, one kilometre for every dialysis session that our unit will provide for our patients.
