Hello, My name is Reece. Covid-19 has been hard for everyone, I dont deny that at all, today I'm here to share my friends story. Like most of us covid-19 has impacted our lives, we are literally taking it day by day, but for my friends, Steve & Cheree, its these day's that mean the most. 2 years ago Steve and Cheree battled through what they thought was the hardest time of their life, Steve was hit with prostate cancer, staying strong and pushing through, he made it to remission. Sadly, 2 months ago, his Cancer has returned. In a time that has crust us all, during this pandemic, my friends are battling Steve's Cancer once again...... only now it's in his bladder, with no job, no form of income, they are going through hell. Chemo, surgery and medication, thrown on top of Covid-19 is something that no one should ever have to go through...... Which is why "Mycause" is here. Raising money for mens mental and physical health is a passion of mine, and this year I am proud and honoured to raise funds for my friends, funds that can support them financially, funds that can bring them comfort and relieve them of stress during these horrible times. This year I will be dedicated to Running a total of 100 Kilometres during the month of November, I'm hoping to raise $1,500 to support 2 kind and caring people that would never ask for anything from anyone. They are the type of people that put everyone and everything before themselves and are always there to brighten up your day. As the title says, Gilly, this is all for you mate! Thank you.
