My name is Susie, I am a 26-year-old female and a strong ambassador for women’s health and supporting women in need.
About me: I have been a paramedic for the past 4 years of my life. I come from a small town called Port Macquarie and from a big family of 8. I have lived in the Coogee area for the past 6 years and have been a witness to too many women in horrible situations and, until now have felt so helpless. I have put my whole heart into raising money for this much needed cause,
I am raising money in a number of ways and my gofund me page is one of the ways, I have also decided to run a charity night to raise money on behalf of Women’s Community Shelters on the 8th of August 2020 in Sydney city to raise as much money as possible. We are going to have a girl’s night in with a raffle/silent auction.
I am raising money for a very well-deserved charity. All donations going to women's shelters in NSW to help women in crisis. They are an amazing charity who do amazing things, however, need our help in order to keep running and keep helping women in crisis.
I am raising money for Women’s Community Shelters. Here is a link to all the amazing things they are doing including in the eastern suburbs: https://www.womenscommunityshelters.org.au/
Any help from you would be amazing and greatly appreciated.
Women's Community Shelters aims to address the chronic shortage in crisis accommodation for homeless women. Our shelters not only offer a safe place to sleep. We help women access services they desperately need: counselling, medical help, legal assistance, education, employment and housing.
