As you may be aware, JD has been growing his hair for the past 4 years to donate it to make wigs for children with cancer.
It started as just not wanting a haircut, then a puppet show from CANTEEN and a discussion with mum, turned into the idea that his hair could benefit someone without it. Even when he is called a "girl", he has stuck to it and he has the most beautiful head of hair.
It has reached past his initial intended length of 30cms and currently sits at 42cm. He wants to donate as much as he can but he feels that it is time to make the chop.
When he broke his arm last year and had to spend time in the hospital, the ladies at the Ronald McDonald House Family Room looked after him with a wonderful feed after surgery was delayed. When JD was told that they ran on Donations, he figured it was only right that he help with providing the next child in need with help.
Whilst JD has done the hard work in growing his hair, any donation you can make big or small will help make a difference. You can donate $ or be brave and donate hair (needs to be at least 36cms)
