This EOFY, help support a child like Noah. 

Meet 5 year old Noah. This year Noah's parents Maria Aura and Melchor want to prepare Noah for the transition to ‘big school’ in 2021. This includes enabling Noah to become more independent, giving him strategies and tools to self-regulate, interact appropriately with peers and educators and communicate his wants and needs effectively. Long term, Maria Aura and Melchor hope that Noah’s story is an inspiration to others. Despite his challenges he is a warm and loving boy who has unique gifts to offer the world. They hope that in time he can develop meaningful relationships, find his passion and continue to be the brave soul he is.

About the Fit Kidz Foundation.

The Fit Kidz Foundation (ABN 90140134112) is a not-for-profit Early Intervention Service which supports children with Autism or other Developmental Disabilities, their families and the local community.

All of our services are based on the Fit Kidz Foundation Comprehensive Approach to Early Intervention. Our services are family-centred, individualised and based on evidence-informed, collaborative, and inclusive approaches. 

How will your donation help?

Early Intervention is crucial for children with Autism and Developmental Disabilities like Noah. Early Intervention gives them the best chance to reach their potential and to participate meaningfully in society. However, the costs of Early Intervention can often be difficult for families. Your donations will enable this vulnerable cohort of children to access this vital Early Intervention service which they so desperately need.

Who will benefit from your Donation?

Our Vision is that every child's development is nurtured by the community to ensure they reach their potential. In 2019 the Fit Kidz Foundation supported 126 children and families. These local families accessed our Group Programs, Individualised Therapies and Parent Workshops. The Fit Kidz Foundation relies on the engagement of our local community to support some of our fundraising needs. This enables us to continue to provide and expand upon our Early Intervention services for local families.
