Australia is very proud of our beautiful native wildlife, which forms an important part of our ecology.
The current bushfire and extreme weather events have devastated our native animals. JCI Australia would like to ask our members, global JCI family, Senators and friends to consider supporting WIRES (NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service Inc.).
WIRES has been rescuing and caring for native animals for over 30 years. They have over 2,500 volunteers in 28 branches and have a dedicated Rescue Office that operates 365 days a year assisting native animals in distress.
In December 2019 alone, WIRES 1300 line received over 20,000 calls and volunteers attended over 3,300 rescues.
Donations received to this campaign will go towards supporting WIRES rescue van, hundreds of incredible vets and caring community members performing native animal rescue operations and ongoing care in fire-affected areas.
Please dig deep and donate generously. We thank you in advance for your support.
WIRES, the NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service has been rescuing and caring for native animals for over 35 years. Our mission is to actively rehabilitate and preserve Australian wildlife and inspire others to do the same.
