My Name is Kyla and I am 10 years old. 3 years ago when I was 7 years old I saw the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Ad Campaign and asked my Mum if I could donate my hair to be made into a wig. Now 3 years later my hair has finally grown long enough to donate to Variety Hair with Heart campaign, my Mum suggested I make this a double donation this time by collecting funds for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Charity as well as giving my ponytail away to be made into wigs for cancer patients. I am hoping to do this on a regular basis even if it is only every few years (my hair only grows so fast). So on the 22nd November 2019 my Mum took me to "KJZ Cutz & Colourz" at Kearns to see our family hairdresser to make the chop. I was able to give 41cm of hair to the Variety Hair with Heart campaign, I have put pictures before and after I had my haircut. I hope to inspire more young girls to part with their ponytails to help others and hopefully raise some money for charity at the same time. XOXO Kyla
