Watson Rd State School Prep Support

Watson Rd State School is a small school in Acacia Ridge which is attended by children from very diverse families. Many cultures are represented in the school community. Significantly, First Nation's peoples are well represented. In a school of just under 200 students, 20 language groups are represented. The school would like to provide a free uniform for every child starting Prep in 2020, which is about 25 children. I have been working with the school in my role as a community worker to provide support where possible for its families, and I would like to raise money to help offset the cost of uniforms. A full uniform including hat is about $75 per child.
