Hugh Macready had a love for life and adventure. He lived life to the full and was a passionate husband and dad.
Hugh tragically passed away in a sailing accident off the coast of NSW in October of 2019, he was 38 years old. He had spoken of how happy he was to be on the ocean and had been thoroughly enjoying visits from bow-wave riding dolphins and even humpback whales during the trip.
He is survived by his wife Kate and their two sons - Owen (4) and Laurie (2). We are raising funds to be shared between a donation to Beyond Blue in Hugh's name (a cause he felt passionately about) and a trust account for his two sons.
Every donation over $2 is tax-deductible and all funds raised will be distributed to Hugh's family.
Helping A Friend in Need (HAFIN) ABN 86611164197 disburses tax deductible donations to individuals and families for the direct relief of poverty, sickness, suffering, distress, misfortune, disability, destitution or helplessness. Donations are tax deductible and are disbursed directly to the beneficiary.
