On October 19th – 20th an unruly group of mates will push a wheelbarrow from Beechworth to Mt Buffalo in the world famous Barrowthon to raise money for charity.
The punishing 88km Tour De France layout starts in Beechworth and meanders its way to Myrtleford with an overnight stay in Porepunkah, then a final push in the mountain stage to Mt Buffalo on the last day.
This year we will be ‘Pushing for the Pancreas’ in honour of a good mate, Matt ‘The Dev’ McIntosh who passed away recently from Pancreatic Cancer as a result of a neuroendocrine tumour. Brother to Jack ‘The Dev’ Mcintosh, son to Paul and Kathryn, Matt is survived by his wife Carrie and two sons Josh (5) and Mitch (3).
The McIntosh family have requested all your kind donations for this years ‘push’ to go to the Unicorn Foundation to help fund valuable research and eventually a cure for Pancreatic Cancer. Thanks for your support!
We done mate. Matty would have been pretty stoked you did that for him. They are tough hills too!!!
