Before I head off to The Alps I’m chopping off my hair and giving it to the charity Little Princesses who make wigs for children who’ve been through chemotherapy. As it is going to be sad to say goodbye to my hair I’m asking for your support and to help raise money for the Great Barrier Reef Foundation.
Coral Reefs provide the most diverse ecosystems on the planet, they protect our coast lines, are used in cancer treatments and provide algae which releases oxygen into the seas.
The Great Barrier Reef Foundation’s mission is to develop and implement effective strategies for protecting and restoring endangered coral reefs while also inspiring, educating, and empowering others to apply these strategies in their coastal communities. They’re on the forefront of great research in developing coral reefs that can sustain bleaching, extreme weathers and other effects climate change has on the our oceans.
