Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive, terminal neurological disease whereby the nerve cells - neurones - controlling the muscles that enable us to move, speak, breathe and swallow; undergo degeneration and die.
To be blunt - you're sentenced to death. Your body deteriorates whilst your mind stays intact.
The prognosis - you got average of 27 months to live.
To make things worse - THERE IS CURRENTLY NO KNOWN CAUSE, CURE OR EFFECTIVE TREATMENT!
Please be ever so kind enough to donate towards finding a CAUSE, CARE or CURE, every cent matters for a condition that continues to strike down thousands of Australians.
