Swimming for the Townsville Flood Disaster

Hi Guys, myself my amazing brother Tom and a couple of mates (who are all Paramedics in Perth) are swimming from Perth to Rottnest Island (Why you ask?) it’s been a challenge I have wanted to do for many years but I have always been a weeny bit scared. But it’s 2019 and life is too short to be scared so we are in! It’s about 20km and massively out of my comfort zone. BUT it’s nothing compared to what the good people of Townsville are going through right now. Over the past few years Townsville has grown to have a special place in my heart. The Supercar event is up there as one of my favorite on the calendar and myself and Will have competed in the Townsville Tri Festival many times. We also have had the privilege to take part in the Townsville to Cairns Bike ride and the Cowboys have adopted us as part of the team. So I feel like I need to do something to help out. If I could ask my mates to donate what they can to those doing it tough at the moment I think we can make a small difference. Much love to our friends up North ????
