Floods in North-West Queensland have devastated my mothers town, home, animals and livelihood. The entire town was 2meters underwater. She was evacuated Thursday along with her single neighbour and was forced to leave over 200 animals behind taking only a backpack and a kangaroo joey. In addition to this a train has tipped toxic minerals (lead, copper, zinc) next to the town. She will need help to get back on her feet as she has lost food, clothes, electronics, furniture, animal feed and pretty much everything else she owns both inside and outside will be ruined.

Insurance will take time (if we are even covered for flood), and disaster relief will not be enough - she will need money just to get started. Please help us.
