Thanks for visiting my Fundraising Page for Alpine Challenge 2018! If you did not already know, I have been preparing for a 160 km run through the Victorian Alps. Nov 24 is fast approaching! I have been training diligently and am hoping for the best, which is to finish within the 42 hour cut off time. However, in the event that I wander off course and get lost, or become injured, I know that Alpine Search and Rescue Victoria will come to my aid. And that is what this request is about. Alpine SAR are a dedicated bunch of experienced volunteers who put it all on the line when someone needs help. I myself was part of a back country ski patrol in Oregon and know first hand the hard work and dedication required of its members.
