We are investing in the future! This unique playground featuring recycled materials will inspire curiosity and a love of nature across all generations. As well as being a fun and safe space for the local community to meet and play, it will also be a place to rest and watch the world go by. Dedicated in memory of Ted Naylor and all children who have left us too soon. Construction begins mid-Oct 2018.

It features inclusive play equipment that is easily accessed by all ages: a tyre mound with inbuilt double bump slides, sandpit, blackboards, open spaces for free play, picnic tables & chairs, a tractor, and a demonstration indigenous plant garden from the local Landcare group. The playground has been designed by a member of our church and Australian Standard safety checks have been carried out and will continue to be carried out regularly. This intiative is another step towards building a healthy community in Huntly and we hope that you will visit regularly.

The total cost of the project is $40,000. We are very grateful to be receiving support from the Bendigo Northern District Community Enterprise (BNDCE) via the Bendigo Bank, as well as Epsom Sand & Soil and Bunnings Epsom. Through this online fundraising campaign we are looking for contributions from individuals within the church and local community to add to the $25,000 contribution from the parish.

We are also busy knitting and crocheting a yarn bombing project for the big tree out the front, if you're keen to contribute, please contact us via our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/BendigoNorthAnglicanParish

Anglican Parish of Bendigo North
Our parish is made up of St Clement's, Huntly and St Luke's, White Hills. We have a traditional Anglican service Sunday mornings at White Hills and a contemporary service with a cafe-style set up on Sunday evenings in Huntly. Check our FB page #BendigoNorth for a short introductory video.
