Marisa, the founder of Second Chance Animal Rescue has a crazy idea. She and head Vet, Kylee are WALKING from Campbellfield to the Mornington Peninsula. That's 72km!

Starting at 4am on Thursday 15th November and bringing a couple of furry friends for some of the journey, they aim to raise $5,000 for the Community Animal Hospital offering free treatments to those who can't afford them so that no sick or injured pet will ever be turned away because their owners can't pay the bills.

Second Chance rescue and rehome abandoned animals and those due to be put to sleep at other shelters. We're proud to say that to date nearly 10,000 animals have been been rescued from not-so-pleasant fates in pounds and shelters throughout Victoria and are now happily settled in new homes around the state.

Second Chance Animal Rescue
We are a community animal shelter that rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs and cats that have been abandoned or are due to be put to sleep in pounds across Victoria. Through fostering, shelter volunteers and our pet outreach program we have adopted over 12,000 animals to new homes since 2008.
