Grant and Janelle Chilcott are a true love story. Soul mates. When Hamish came along in 2006, a perfect mix of them both, their little family was complete. In August 2008 our darling Nel was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer. This diagnosis totally knocked the wind out of them, their family and all of us. For 10 years Nel, Grant and Hamish have lived with this awful disease, always with a smile and always with a positive outlook. The past year has been especially difficult as Nel now has secondary brain cancer, and chemo is no longer effective. Funds raised here will be used to give the Chilcott family some treats, whatever that looks like to them. Grant seems excited to use the funds to get in a cleaning lady. Nel was more on board with weekly flowers and massage! Hamish’s pick is a massive Lego set (or maybe a trip to LegoLand!). A family holiday would be perfect as well. It really could be anything that can brighten their day. If you’ve ever thought "What can I do to help?" then here is one way you can.
