On Thursday the 5th of July, The community of west pennant hills including the surrounding suburbs lost two teenagers: Jack , 15 Jennifer, 13 as a result of a horrific homicide inflicted by the one person the two kids should have been able to trust, their own father. As a result, the matter has remained incredibly heavy on our hearts. Jack, a member of my maths class, will constantly remain in my thoughts. And it is in his memory I intend on making a difference. I decided to raise money for the Homicide Victims Support Group. This is an organization supporting families throughout the trauma and grief they may be experiencing as a result of situations like the tragic shooting at West Pennant Hills. As a community, we need to come together, raise awareness and make a stand. If it doesn't stop now, when will it?
