Keeping children in school with the full support of their families and communities is the aim of our Lower Secondary School Development Program (LSSDP). This year our team is running in the Angkor Empire Marathon in Siem Reap on Sunday August 5 to raise $1500 to support vulnerable children from 11 lower secondary schools to stay in school and complete their education.
With your kind support we can assist children in poor families to study in a safe and protected environment and remain in school. Children are able to learn without fear and with strong encouragement and support from their families and communities to protect, respect and fulfill their needs.
Here are some examples of how your donation can make a difference:
$ 20: Can provide a school uniform and shoes to a student
$ 25: Can provide library books to improve education outcomes
$ 50: Can provide a bicycle for a student who lives far from school
$100: Can contribute to improving the learning environment by planting gardens, or installing reading huts.
$300: Support student council activities throughout the academic year to strengthen their leadership skills and to provide peer support activities
Well done, Elle.
