Introducing the MAMs…

Chris Craig, Debra Russell, Helen Seymour, Kristina Bennett and Therese Barwick, and we ride together every Friday morning.

We are participating in the 2018 Below The Belt Pedalthon on Sunday 18 March to raise much needed funds for ANZUP, the Cancer Trials Group.

We are part of Bec’s Troops, a group that the Jago family began in 2009 to support their daughter Bec, who was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2006. Sadly Bec passed away at the age of 19 in 2011 but the Bec’s Troops fundraising efforts continue in memory of her.

ANZUP performs non-industry-sponsored clinical trials in genitourinary tract cancers (prostate, kidney, bladder, testis). These cancers are common and you or someone you love have probably been touched by one of them. Better treatments are needed but resources to support these trials are scarce.
