Sew for a Girl Canberra makes washable menstrual kits for girls in Pakistan through the Days for Girls program - a world wide charity. These simple washable menstrual kits change girls lives. We work with a female teacher in Pakistan who has completed the required training and we send 30 kits a month to the poorest villages in Punjab Pakistan, where the girls learn about menstruation and using the kits. Without these kits the girls simply would not attend school. These kits offer a future... girls can attend school and get an education which helps them to build a career and can deliver them from the grip of poverty. Each kit lasts 3 to 4 years. Each month we send 30 kits (10 kilos) of kits to Pakistan - this costs us $140AUD each month. We would like to continue this through 2018, and help another 360 girls build a future in Pakistan. We need your help. Each donation received will go directly to the postage to send these kits to Pakistan. We can reach so many with you assistance, we have the kits waiting - all ready to post!! Please help us to continue this work in Pakistan through donating to the postage, and make a tangible difference to these girls future..... www.sewforagirlcanberra.com Please note that the video is made in Kenya through the International Days for Girls Organisation. It explains why the Days for Girls work is so important.
Thank you for this very practical way to help girls get an education.
