Our 23 year old son Benjamin Hollow and his partner Lauren Brownlee were struck by lighting on Friday November 24th 2017 at Chirnside Park.
Unfortunately Lauren tragically passed away.
Ben now has the difficult task of continuing his life journey without his beloved soulmate Lauren. As well as the pain of this emotional tragedy he also faces an uncertain future with his physical injuries, having to learn how to walk again as well as restructuring his life to be able to achieve his goal of independence . Ben has already undergone 3 surgeries on his legs as well as maintaining multiple specialist appointments.
It is predicted he will have a further 2 years of physio and rehab with no clarity as to what his outcome will be. His physically condition is so unique due to his injuries it is impossible to predict what his working future will be.
Life has certainly dealt Ben a very unfair hand at such a young age having cut short his relationship with the woman he was planning to have children and grow old with.
Please dig deep to enable Ben to support himself while going through this extremely difficult time. The donations collected will be given to Ben's family to help cover medical and rehab costs, any support will be greatly appreciated. Please give Ben the support he deserves.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Laurens family in NSW and Queensland.
From Ben, the Hollow family, his friends and colleagues we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity.
