‘A Helping Hand’ is undertaken by four university students, studying a Bachelor of Primary Education and Early Childhood. We are the funds coordinator for ‘A Helping Hand’ project. This project is a university based group which aims to supply care packages to the homeless of Sydney, Australia.
Seeing as you’ve reached our donations page, you’ve probably come from our Instagram page (a_helping_hand_2017). However, if this is the first time you’ve heard of the project, or you’d like to find out more about it, we have included some more detailed information below.
We aim to make those nights a little less rough for those without a roof over their heads, and with a bit of help from you, we can make even more of a difference.
The ‘A Helping Hand’ project, began in August 2017 with the aim of sourcing, packing, and distributing care packages to the homeless in Sydney, Australia. These packages contain a selection of essential food, water, clothing items, and hygiene products, and will be packed into sturdy bags for the homeless to keep. These care packages will be personally handed out by our team during October, 2017. A donation of just $25 will cover the cost of half a care package, supplying a person in need with everyday essentials. By reaching our goal, we will have raised enough money to cover the cost of all the packs!
You can support the project by clicking on the donate button above, and remember, no amount is too small (or too large!); it’s all going to a good cause. If you would like to be even more involved in the Packages for Homeless, you can follow our Instagram page (a_helping_hand_2017).
Kind Regards
The ‘A Helping Hand’ Team
Hopefully you get your results , as I feel its a good cause.
