Orthodox Christian Mission in Fiji, Tonga and Samoa

The Orthodox Christian mission in the South Pacifc (Fiji, Tonga and
Samoa) is growing steadily under the very close
eye and guidance of the spiritual father and leader of these
missions, His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilochios of New Zealand,
whose canonical spiritual jurisdiction these islands belong to.

In the past we have talked extensively about the mission in Fiji and
in South Australia we have held some fundraisers specifically
for the Orthodox Mission in Fiji.

However the mission has spread to the islands of Tonga and Samoa.

The mission has established: a missionary centre, an orphanage, a
safehome for mothers and Churches. It offers social welfare
services to the locals and we have been blessed with the ordination
of a few local people who serve the faithful in all 3 countries.

However all this is ONLY made possible through the financial
support of only a few missionary societies in Greece and America,
together with many donations from fundraising efforts conducted in Australia.

We kindly ask you to support this cause, which is part of our
ongoing fundraising for the mission, here in South Australia.

The money specifically goes towards the maintenance of the Mission's services, new infrastructure (orphanages, churches, medical and health supplies, education etc) and the sustainability and expansion of the Mission.
