About
As part of the River Run race on 23rd July, our team '10 for 10' will run 10km loops from South Bank to Kangaroo Bridge and back. I will run the full 100km with the support of our 10 runners over 12/13 hours.
This is a huge opportunity to have some fun, generate some much needed funds for some great causes, and conquer a few personal goals. We have a brilliant selection of runners of all abilities.
My wife Keri (Suncorp) will run, as will my son Jack and some of his football team. Cam (Sunsuper) and Graeme (Sentrian) from the football club will run with the boys. Steve (Recon Solutions), Krista, Briggsy (LAQ), Sue (Red Cross), Dasa (Dundees Boxing Gym West End) and KC (Pondera Physio) who is a blind marathon runner will run a loop guided by myself, and Dave Alley (Alley Health and Fitness) who is my run coach, mate, and world record holder for running around Australia.
mycause will disburse funds directly to the charities and funds for Milla will be sent to her bank.
We are fundraisng for Milla Fletcher, Red Cross, Prostate Cancer, Liver Foundation, Guide Dogs QLD, and Camp Quality.
Big shout out to Lovehoney.com.au - our staff and website are the best in the world, and their support in this project, and their contribution from the Ministry of Giving is simply awesome.
Please dig deep if you can - I'm sure the runners will be digging deep over the race. Anything will help. You can give to all charities, a few or your favourite.

While we’re best known for our iconic Guide Dogs, we’re far more than just dogs. Since we were established, our services have grown greatly to become a holistic offering of services tailored to the individual that are designed to help each person achieve their goals.
Liver Foundation
The Liver Foundation was established in response to the huge and ever-growing need for more research into liver disease and the need to develop community education for those 6 million Australians already affected.
Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA)
PCFA is the peak national body for prostate cancer in Australia. It is dedicated to funding research, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of prostate cancer as well as raising awareness and providing support, information and advocacy to men and their families impacted by prostate cancer.
