Global Care Australia exists to spread kindness and love across Australia and the world. With 85 local operations and over 2,000 volunteers helping people each week across Australia, Global Care lives out its motto of Mates Helping Mates.
Programs and activities include domestic and international disaster relief, low cost grocery stores, safe housing, property restoration projects, micro-enterprise funding, advocacy and much more!
This year, Leigh and I decided to run the City 2 Surf to raise money for Global Care. This is a huge stretch for both of us - the day we made that decision (25th May 2017), I had only run for 90 seconds without stopping, and Leigh was able to run 6km. We are training very hard, and we'd love you to partner with us, encourage us along this journey and help raise money for the incredible work that Global Care has planned in 2017-2018.
