Four years ago I lost a friend as a result of a road accident and in one night the world I knew had shattered. Road trauma and road safety are something I am very passionate about and as a result my family have become very passionate too. If you can't donate, I completely understand but please do something else for me instead. Every time you drive a vehicle, every time you are on our roads, always remember you are responsible for road safety. Road safety is everyone's responsibility and we all have a role in ensuring our roads remain safe. This year already we have experienced 89 deaths as a result of road trauma, that is potentially 89 families missing an integral member, 89 friendship groups destroyed, 89 sporting clubs left devastated and 89 communities left asking why a beautiful life has been taken in such a devastating manner.
