After 6 years the time has come for me to have a haircut.
Not just any haircut. the DREADLOCKS are coming off.
Instead of a casual , quiet chop i have decided to raise funds for a charity.
The charity i have chosen is the Mark Hughes foundation, Brain cancer is the leading cause of death in children and adults under 40 in Australia and The Mark Hughes Foundation does research to decrease mortality rates and the incidents of brain cancer in Australia.
Its not talked about enough and i want to raise awareness.
There will be a date set soon for the cut and all are invited and welcome to come. we will do some more fundraising on the night and auction of the first dread lock cut to the highest bidder.
Donating is easy, just click where it says "Donate" and follow the prompts.
Thanks to Wests Hockey for your support.
Every little donation helps. ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
The Mark Hughes Foundation was formed in Newcastle by Mark and Kirralee Hughes following Marks diagnosis with Brain Cancer in 2013. The Mark Hughes Foundation has been formed to raise much needed funds to promote research, heighten awareness and support brain cancer patients.
