About
Starting on the 26th February I will be living off $2 a day and walking the 16km round trip to work to somewhat simulate the challenges of many children in Southwestern Uganda. In a catchment area of 15,000 students, the Zuri Project Uganda has just opened the doors to the first secondary school in the area with building still happening. All donations throughout the fundraiser will go towards the completion of the school and providing resources to assist with sustainable education.
To give you an example of how far your donations will go:
- $10 buys enough seed to produce food to feed 10 pupils for a month. - $15 buys enough books and stationary for 15 pupils for an entire month - $20 buys a classroom desk.
