The events which occurred Friday the 20th of January has rocked us and the greater Melbourne community to its core.
Sadly, 3-month-old baby Zachary Bryant lost his life, while his sister Zara was critically injured.
Minutes before the tragedy, Nethra had just finished breastfeeding her infant son Hari at a daycare centre across the road. Just like every other day, Mohan and Nethra were to catch up for a quick coffee before going back to work…sadly tragedy struck.
Nethra sustained very serious injuries and was in a coma for almost 3 days, with doctors battling to keep her alive.
This young family were recent arrivals to our beautiful city – therefore had no family support in their darkest hours.
Nothing empowers us more than working for a cause and helping those in need.
We wish all those who have been injured a speedy recovery and to those who are no longer with us, may their memories be a blessing.
Please donate to this campaign to support the Kumar and Bryant families as they try to move on from this tragedy. Your donation will help rebuild their lives.
