Dee Why Premier League football team will be running in the 10km Sun Run from Dee Why to Manly in the aid of raising money for Jamie Mines who has recently been involved in a tragic work accident. A few of Dee Why's football players (Ben and Matt) had the pleasure of playing football with Jamie over the years. He is a great lad and has recently become the provider of newly born twin girls and needs your support.
A few days before Christmas Jamie was involved in a major work related accident, where he was electrocuted. He was taken to Swindon Hospital (UK) where he was placed in an induced coma. To enable the medical staff to keep Jamie alive, they had to amputate both arms and one leg.
Jamie's life has changed and will never be the same. His family must be going through a devastating time and our Australian hearts go out to them. If you are able, please consider helping out Jamie's family.
Jamie was electrocuted just days before last Christmas. He was placed into an induced coma and he had both arms amputated, one leg amputated and his toes on the leg amputated. Jamie is the recent provider of his beautiful family of newly born twin girls. I use to play football with Jamie in the UK.
