I started this simple project after befriending several Gambian Families and learning of the battles and struggles they face. To ease the burden on me I have started this crowd funding project. I am not a charity, not an organisation run by a committee. It is a private and personal initiative. If you want to help me by all means do so. I am not offering tax deductibility, or charity status ..ALL FUNDS DONATED or pledged go into the project. I don't want large donations. This is a simple pledge I would like as many people as possible to pledge -$20 For that you will receive a quarterly progress report by email of progress to date so you can see how the project is developing and going. You are essentially buying a subscription to a quarterly newsletter and progress report. I ask you to pledge -$20 ONCE ONLY to be pooled to develop plots one at a time. That's One coffee and a cake.. Can you really afford not to get involved you will definitely change lives. I am passionate about this and will deliver it on time and on budget. Please spread the word, get involved and donate. We desperately need your support and donations NOW! I feel very uncomfortable continually hounding people to stop procrastinating and donate today but this is the real world and people are dying every day of malnutrition particularly children and will continue to do so whilst the world sits back watching and waiting. I have purposely broken the fundraising target down to stage components to make the whole project less daunting and achievable. We have a small block of land. The next stage is building a home. The house site has been pegged out and digging the footings and concreting the foundations will cost $600. We have made all the concrete blocks and building all the walls will cost about $1000 , the roof trusses are another $1000 and roofing iron another $1000. Windows and doors is $700 and electrics and plumbing another $1000 .plastering is $700 Which means $6000 to finish the house. . Please, please, please. help us now make a donation, spread the word, tell your friends. What would be great would be to,start a local coffee club to discuss our progress and see what your donations are achieving and encourage new people to join us and donate to this cost effective sustainable project. Please don't sit back and do nothing I ask you to come on board join us, donate now and change lives forever. THANKS.
This is a private initiative of mine to change lives of struggling rural Gambians one family at a time. Subsistence farmers are malnourished and extremely poor.
We can buy cheap plots of land with water and power, build cheap homes with village help and teach sustainable food production techniques.

It is only small but I know it will be put to very good use. I look forward to updates of the how the project grows in the future.
