Awareness of DV by a 9 year old Cats Fan

Alessio is 9 years old and as most of you know a HUGE Geelong Cats supporter and member. On March 26, 2016 Jimmy Bartel shared his story on Domestic Violence. Alessio was touched and deeply moved that one of his favourites number 3, had experienced this in his life. Jimmy Bartel started the campaign “Face Up To DV” in which he would not shave his face or cut his hair for the entire 2016 AFL season in hopes of sparking conversation around the epidemic. That day, Alessio decided he was also going to grow his hair to raise awareness. His last hair cut was in January by Josiah, The Resident Barber. This beautiful, loving little boy has decided Monday 3rd October will be the day he cuts it, of course like Jimmy Bartel it has to be after the AFL grand final. He openly tells people that he's growing his hair like Jimmy, to raise awareness on domestic violence. With one month to go, we decided we should raise some money for Bethany, an independent, voluntary organisation who help and assist people in need who are victims of domestic violence. $500 is the aim and we would love your support!
