Woof Doof Events

"WOOF DOOF" was conceived a few years ago after popping along to a dog park in Yarraville on a Sunday afternoon to take the 'guys' for a walk, only to stumble upon a renegade setup by a group of friends in the middle of the dog park, dishing out some very cool Sunday beats. Completely unphased that they were surrounded by 4-legged balls of fur who seemed to be loving the music and the vibe, it dawned on me that this could actually be something worth looking into! And hence, WOOF DOOF was born :D

Since its original inception, the Woof Doof team have been working hard in the background developing their concept and fine tuning the plan for execution...which brings us to the here and now. With all proceeds of our events being donated directly to various animal shelters and rescues across Australia, our mission is to provide ongoing emotional and financial support to these organisations whom rely solely on donations, bequests and funds to maintain their facilities.

Our assistance will enable the ‘frontline warriors’ to continue the fight for a world whereby all dogs are treated respectfully in a nurturing environment, shown unyielding compassion and are ensured a peaceful and humane existence.

The first beneficiaries of our launch event are Second Chance Animal Rescue in Cambellfield, Victoria.

SCARs mission is to be an outstanding animal welfare organisation in caring for homeless and unwanted dogs and cats and in enhancing the responsible ownership of these animals in the community. We look forward to a society that no longer views adoptable companion animals as a disposable commodity and where all companion animals have a loving home where they are treated with compassion and respect.
