About

After coming off his surf board in shallow water at Kirra Beach, Rob broke his neck resulting in a severe spinal injury and loss of movement in his body. His wife and 2 1/2 year old son witnessed the horrific and life changing event, with Rob being rescued from the surf and attended to by an off-duty paramedic at the beach.
Rob is currently in the spinal unit at the PA hospital in Brisbane where he is facing a lengthy 12 months of recovery and rehabilitation. He will most likely be confined to a wheelchair and not walk or have use of his arms again.

Please dig deep to assist Rob, his wife Katie, and his 2 young sons - Rafe (age 2 1/2) and Bowie (age 5 months). Any assistance provided will go towards funding his rehabilitation in the future and help support living and accommodation costs for his family as Rob is no longer able to work.

******STROLL FOR THE CROLLS*******
Fundraising event

Sunday, March 6
at 7:30 AM - 1 PM

15km family stroll from Captain Cook Memorial Park, Point Danger, Coolangatta to Rudd park Burleigh Heads to raise funds for the Croll family. We are also hoping to get local business's here in Burleigh on board to donate prizes and will do spot prize / raffles and sausage sizzle on the day

This is a case of some mums reaching out to their mumma networks to help support a young family in need.
Funds raised will go directly Rob's rehabilitation in the future and help support living and accommodation costs for his family as Rob is no longer able to work.

Registration will be $20 and you can register and pay on the day.

If you want to be involved on the day but can't participate in the walk we will need a few volunteers to help as well so send us a message.

$ 120

Tim forwarded this money, which mysteriously appeared in our Pay Pal account, with the intention for us to purchase raffle tickets on his behalf, but forgot to tell us!! So, seeing as it's now too late for last Sunday's raffle, here's Tim's money as a direct dotation instead to a very worthy cause. All our very best wishes and love to Robbo & Katie and the boys at this difficult time, Jan & Roger Briggs - on behalf of Tim Briggs
