About
So what is Floorball? It is a fast paced, invasive indoor game that blends the greatest elements of ice hockey with some characteristics also found in soccer and basketball.
Floorball is played within the confines of a rink using a (hard) plastic ball and a lightweight stick with a plastic blade.
It is a relatively new sport on the world stage - first played in Scandinavia during the 1970s - but is now played in over 57 countries and is now being considered for inclusion in the Olympic Games from 2020.
I am so excited to have been selected to represent Australia along with my teammates in Tampere, Finland in December 2015. As with many sports in Australia for this opportunity to become a reality it has to be self funded.
As a University student working two part time jobs I have funded a number of domestic trips to attend national Floorball events, and a trip to New Zealand earlier this year for an Asia-Pacific competition, however in order to make it to Finland I need some help.
That, as they say, is where (maybe) you come in (no pressure). If you'd like to contribute in some small way I'd really appreciate it, but if not that's cool too (at least maybe after reading this you know a little more about my sport).

Hi Kerrie,
This is a donation from Paul for his client of the month prize as well as a donation from myself in lieu of getting you a special gift. I thought you could use this more effectively. Good luck Kerrie.
