HELP WSA RAISE $3000 for sick kids campaign by Sept 5.

Please toss a gold coin into WSA's virtual busking basket for those who can't make live performances. Let's help these young achievers reach their fundraising target.

WSA are a new and upcoming teen rock band and prodigies of the famous Rosie’s School of Rock – and not even in high school. Recently they have appeared on television a number of times in the ‘So there’ show; played the Tamworth Country Music Festival and pop up at major events everywhere. WSA are Wyatt, Saxon and Aiden, pre teen rockers and long term students of Rosie’s School of Rock in Newcastle and already seasoned performers.

Founder of the School of Rock, Craig Rosevear or “Rosie” as he is popularly known drew on a 20 year career at the top of the Australian Music Industry to pass down the value of Live Performance as the Key to motivating and engaging young musicians increase and increasing their confidence in music & in life!.

Rosie’s School of Rock in partnership with Hunter Tafe Music, ASPECT Australia & The National Disabilities Insurance Scheme provides opportunities for all students to fulfill their great potential with confidence building interactive programs. Likewise, Rosie’s School of Rock are committed to their local community and are associated with many charities. At this time, fundraising is progressing well towards the 'everyday heroes for sick kids' campaign. Not only is ‘Rosie’ riding around Australia for RMH in September but keen to follow in these footsteps are his young performers. The bands of young performer’s from Rosie’s are certainly involved in fundraising and committed to their causes, and WSA is no exception.

After Wyatt, Saxon and Aiden (WSA) donated their busking proceeds from Tamworth Country Music Festival to charity, they went on to volunteer their time to other causes and are now tirelessly raising money for RMH. Busking every weekend WSA are donating all proceeds to RMH and hope to reach $3000 by August 22nd, alongside other rock bands from Rosie’s.

Providing children fundraising opportunities for philanthropic causes contributes to the development of moral judgment and a better understanding of civic responsibility. Involving children in philanthropic activities when they are young means as they grow, these behaviors will become second nature to them. They see first hand that they have the ability to make a positive change in their communities. With more than 300 students at Rosie’s School of Rock, ‘Rosie’ is certainly nurturing a path for educated citizens and our future leaders. WSA feature on Rosie’s YouTube Channel – check them out and have a look at the other local up and coming talent.
