Our sister Jessy overcame cervical cancer in 2012. She overcame complications with this to have baby boy - Hugo via surrogacy through a friend - in 2014. Now, just shy of her 4th wedding anniversary and her little boys 1st birthday she has been diagnosed with cervical cancer again. She will overcome this too.
The doctors have advised that a drug - Avastin - not funded by the government is among the best complementary treatments with chemotherapy. Avastin acts as a "mopping" agent retarding the growth of cancer cells.
To give Hugo's mummy a hand and kick this cancer to the kerb we are asking for the support of friends and family to raise funds for this drug.
