Cold cuddle cot in memory of Ella Rose

With this $5000 I was able to purchase my first and donate that to Hawkesbury Hospital and then thanks to Nepean Valley Rotary I was able to donate my second to Nepean Private Hospital and thanks to Coles Riverview I have just over have of the funds to go towards a third cot.
I am trying to raise more money to buy this third cot and hopefully more cold cuddle cots (cuddle cots are pieces of medical equipment that act like a refrigerated bassinet and allow babies to stay in the hospital room with their parents) to donate to another hospital (first cuddle cot donated to Hawkesbury Hospital) and even though there is nothing anyone can do to take away the pain of losing a child, this may just help them to grieve that little bit better as they will be able to spend more time with their baby.
The Covercool Cuddle Cot is used to cool deceased neonatals allowing the family more time to spend with their baby whilst their baby is kept cool. It is internationally recognised that parents should be provided with the choice to spend time with their deceased baby and International position statements/guidance highlight this.

Our beautiful Ella Rose was born sleeping on the 27th of April 2015, it has and always will be such a heartbreaking experience for my husband and I and even though we got to spend some time over the next 2 days with Ella it just wasnt enough and as her mother I needed to put her needs before my own and that meant her being in the mortuary more than being with me as it was better for her little body. I am truly grateful for the time I did have with my daughter as I have read about families that get to spend as little as 2hours with their child and never see them again and my heart breaks for those people.
It is so hard emotionally to go through labour and the birth of your child knowing that you will be leaving that hospital empty handed and instead of planning your babys future you are left to plan their funeral.

Nothing can change the hurt my husband and I went through and still are going through but a cold cuddle cot would of helped us spend so much more needed time with our little Angel Ella.

So I have set this fund up in hope of raising enough money to help other families who will sadly go through what we have just been through.

One cuddle cot costs $5000.

Approximately 2500 babies in Australia are born sleeping each year, thats 6 babies every day.
