Shave a Ranga to Save the Rangas!

Every hour, the equivalent of 55 Rugby fields of rain forest is destroyed in Indonesian in order to make way for palm oil plantations. This means that orangutans are losing their habitat - and fast!!

Orangutans are an endangered species, and without the help of organisations like Borneo Orangutan Survival Australia, we could lose one of our most intelligent and closely related animal friends.

That's why I have decided that, if I raise over $3000, I will shave off my ranga locks to help save my ranga friends.

I will be selling raffle tickets as well, if seeing my bald pate isn't incentive enough to hand over your hard earned money ;)

The tickets are $3 each or two for $5 and the prizes thus far include:

- 6'10" Miller V-Skate Surfboard (second hand)
- 2 X 6 hours of babysitting/dogwalking
- Bottle of wine courtesy of the Summer Hill wine Shop
- $60 voucher for Summer Hill Village Quality Meats
- Nice bottle of wine from my dad

- $20 Elizabeth Books voucher!! (My favourite bookshop in the world!!)

Also, the person who donates the most money will get first dibs on shaving my head!!
