Sah-wah-dee kha {Means "hello" in Thai}
My name is Ivona and together with my mates - Ribka, Emmie & Adam, will be climbing Mt. Kinabalu this coming January 2012 in a bid to raise funds to help less fortunate people in Chiang Mai, Thailand. After the hike I will be visiting my friend - Ruth Proser, Doug & Fiona Higgins, who are part of Capacity JEM in Chiang Mai, to work on what you and I have raised together. I'm hoping to raise as much as possible in 3.5 weeks. If you are not familiar with the process of donating online, you can donate in person. I'll be funding my own trip, so your giving will go directly to Capacity JEM. Any amount will help, as Mother Teresa once said "If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one"!
My friend Irene Gunawan, who has inspired me on to mission trips, will look after this fund. I will endeavour to provide updates on our progress as much as I can.
